DraftKings fantasy football is very similar to Fantasy Premier League (FPL), but does not require full-time commitment like FPL as it offers year round games that you can play as little or as much as you want.

Here are our fix standout selections for the DraftKings' gameweek 35 daily contest (Saturday 20th April):

GK / Patricio / $5,500

Wolves host Brighton in gameweek 35, an opportunity to invest in a goalkeeper who is facing one of the worst away sides in the division. As always our attention is focused on the saves potential of the keepers given the DraftKings’ point scoring system rewarding keepers with 2 points per save, on top of 5 for a clean sheet. The Portuguese has made 82 saves, the fifth highest in the league, racking up six clean sheets. Brighton have only scored 15 goals on the road all season, and only Burnley (45) and Cardiff (43) landed fewer shots on target (SoT) on their travels than the Seagulls’ 49. For additional informative data on Goalkeepers, see our bespoke DraftKings’ custom stats table here.

D / Pereira / $5,500

Leicester will be looking to bounce back from their defeat at the hands of Newcastle in gameweek 34, with their marauding Portuguese right back leading the charge. He averages 3.3 crosses (+0.75 points in Draftkings), 1.7 interceptions (+0.5 points in DraftKings), 0.3 clean sheets (+3 points in DraftKings), 1.9 tackles (+1 point in DraftKings) and 0.8 shots (+1 point in DraftKings) per match, indicating his multiple routes for points in this format. West Ham have only scored seven goals in the last six gameweeks, landing 18 SoT. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates a 26% probability of Leicester keeping a clean sheet this week and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

M / Fraser / $7,900

Bournemouth host a Fulham side that has kept just one clean sheet in the last six gameweeks, and will be looking to to continue their good form after their thrashing of Brighton in gameweek 34. Only Ritchie has averaged more crosses (+0.75 points in DraftKings) per match than Fraser’s 6.5, and the diminutive winger also averages an expected assist (+6 points in DraftKings) nearly every other game with 0.4, and 1.1 shots (+1 point in DraftKings) per match. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature predicts Fulham to have only a 10% probability of a clean sheet this weekend, so the Scot represents a great value option, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

F / Jiménez / $8,900

Wolves will be looking to recover from their loss against Southampton in gameweek 34 as they host Brighton and given that the Seagulls have shipped 12 goals in their last six matches, Jiménez is our forward recommendation for this week. He averages 0.8 crosses (+1 point in DraftKings), three shots and one SoT per game, and has racked up ten goals and seven assists already. Brighton have conceded seven goals in their last two matches and the Mexican is a shrewd pick for your squad. For more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

How to play DraftKings Fantasy Football

For those unaccustomed to this fantastic daily cash game, you are required to select eight players with a $50,000 salary cap. The structure is as follows;

GK -- D x2 -- M x2 -- F x2 -- UTIL (utility player)

The utility player can be either a D (Defender), M (Midfielder) or F (Forward) and will score points in the same way as the other selections. However, you will notice your budget has been spread thin, so, this is all about finding a hidden gem that could score well. For example, a defender that is not typically a big scorer but is playing against a team that struggle to score, therefore heightening the chance of (clean sheet, tackles won, passed intercepted etc.) points.dkscoring

The format allows you the luxury of entering into a variety of contests including beginner tournaments/leagues, head to heads (against one other opponent), 50/50s (where you win if you finish in the top half) and many more.

The full scoring breakdown is as follows:
