DraftKings fantasy football is very similiar to Fantasy Premier League (FPL), but does not require full-time commitment like FPL as it offers year round games that you can play as little or as much as you want.

Here are our fix standout selections for the DraftKings' gameweek 31 daily contest (Saturday 16th march):

GK / Fabianski / $5,600

West Ham host Huddersfield in gameweek 31, an opportunity to invest in a goalkeeper who is facing a side who have failed to score in their last four away matches. As always, our attention is focused on the saves potential of the keepers given the DraftKings’ point scoring system rewarding keepers with 2 points per save, on top of 5 for a clean sheet. The Pole has made 117 saves, the highest in the league, racking up five clean sheets. The Hammers have notched two clean sheets in their last four home matches, conceding just two goals. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature suggests that West Ham have a 61% chance of a clean sheet and for additional informative data on Goalkeepers, see our bespoke DraftKings’ custom stats table here.

D / Pereira / $5,600

Leicester travel to Turf Moor after picking up their first win with Rodgers at the helm and their Portuguese right-back is our pick of the defenders this week. Leicester have now kept seven clean sheets, the eighth highest in the league. The Portuguese averages 3.4 crosses (+0.75 points in Draftkings), 1.9 interceptions (+0.5 points in DraftKings), 0.3 clean sheets (+3 points in DraftKings), two tackles (+1 point in DraftKings) and 0.8 shots (+1 point in DraftKings) per match, indicating his multiple routes for points in this format. Leicester have allowed opponents only 34 shots in the box (SiB), the fourth lowest over the last six gameweeks. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates a 26% probability of Leicester keeping a clean sheet this week and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

M / Fraser / $9,000

Bournemouth will be looking to build on their win against Huddersfield in gameweek 30 as they host Newcastle at the Vitality Stadium. Fraser notched a goal and assist on his last outing and only Ritchie has averaged more crosses (+0.75 points in DraftKings) per match than Fraser’s 6.4, and the diminutive winger also averages an expected assist (+6 points in DraftKings) nearly every other game with 0.4, and 1.1 shots (+1 point in DraftKings) per match. Our Fix predicted points and stats featurepredicts Newcastle to have only a 26% probability of a clean sheet this weekend, so the Scot represents a great value option, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

F / Vardy / $8,200

With four goals in his last three games, Vardy will be looking to continue his good form against a struggling Burnley outfit that have shipped 12 goals in their last six matches. He averages one cross (+1 point in DraftKings), 2.1 shots and 1.1 SoT per game, and has racked up twelve goals and four assists already. Our Fix predicted points and stats featureestimates only a 25 % probability of a Burnley clean sheet, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here

How to play DraftKings Fantasy Football

For those unaccustomed to this fantastic daily cash game, you are required to select eight players with a $50,000 salary cap. The structure is as follows;

GK -- D x2 -- M x2 -- F x2 -- UTIL (utility player)

The utility player can be either a D (Defender), M (Midfielder) or F (Forward) and will score points in the same way as the other selections. However, you will notice your budget has been spread thin, so, this is all about finding a hidden gem that could score well. For example, a defender that is not typically a big scorer but is playing against a team that struggle to score, therefore heightening the chance of (clean sheet, tackles won, passed intercepted etc.) points.

The format allows you the luxury of entering into a variety of contests including beginner tournaments/leagues, head to heads (against one other opponent), 50/50s (where you win if you finish in the top half) and many more.

The full scoring breakdown is as follows:
