Cech and Arsenal may be struggling to keep it tight at the back at the minute, but this shouldn't deter you with the way DraftKings' point scoring system works. The shot-stopper comes in at a reasonable price compared to the other available 'top six' Goalkeepers with a DraftKings' fantasy points per game (FPPG) score of 8.0 so far this season. The Arsenal man has averaged more saves (4.8) per game than any other Goalkeeper that is available for selection in Saturday's contests, as displayed below. That has earned him 38 points in DraftKings alone. The only concern is the amount of goals conceded per game (2), which you lose 2 points for, per goal. However, our Fix predicted points & stats feature suggests Arsenal have a 34% chance of a clean sheet, which is actually a more promising forecast than candidates from Huddersfield, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Watford, Leicester, Cardiff and Fulhan. Mendy is head and shoulders above all of the standout selections for Saturday’s contest as shown in our custom stats’ table built for DraftKings’ scoring criteria below. Given that the DraftKings’ scoring format allows you to score 0.75 points per cross, Mendy looks a safe pick having mustered a mighty average of 6.8 crosses per game so far. The Man. City full-back has scored 20 points from his crosses already this season. When analysing the table below in more detail we learn that the marauding left-back is first for assists averaging one per game, which offers up 6 points per assist, as well as leading the way for tackles won (1.5) which earns his owners 1 point per tackle. With Hazard costing only $100 less than out forward pick, Agüero, we couldn't squeeze the two of them into the lineup this week. However, Pedro appears to be a good alternative. The Spaniard tops the list across a few areas from this Saturday's standout midfielder selections. He is so far averaging 2.8 shots at goal which puts him ahead of Sterling, D. Silva, Pogba and Hazard and he is also currently joint-second for expected goals (0.3) across the opening four games, only being beaten by Pogba in the list below. Given that there are 10 points on offer for goals in DraftKings, this stat is the main one to sway us this week, particularly as his 0.8 goals per game so far can only be rivalled by Sterling's 0.7, with Hazard currently on 0.5. Cardiff look likely to concede goals in this one according to our predicted points & stats feature with a 91% chance of conceding, and Chelsea are expected to score 2.71 goals according to the same feature. Agüero is once again the most expensive player to own in DraftKings this weekend, but it is fully justified when factoring in his opposition and current form. Agüero has averaged more shots (5) per 90 mins than any other standout selection, as can be seen in the info-graphic below of our custom stats’ table for DraftKings’ scoring criteria. DraftKings offers 1 point per shot, and an additional 1 point for a shot on target, so this bodes well for Agüero’ owners. Looking across the same players shown below, the Man. City forward is now joint-first for expected assists (0.2) per 90 mins, and joint-first for tackles won (0.5) which provide owners with 6 and 1 point respectively. It is also worth noting that of the standouts listed below, Agüero has also made the most interceptions per game (0.5), which is an additional 0.5 points. Considering his stats he appears to be a selection that looks good value for money, particularly as Fulham are predicted to have a 97% chance of conceding according to our predicted points & stats feature.

For those unaccustomed to this fantastic daily cash game, you are required to select eight players with a $50,000 salary cap. The structure is as follows;
GK -- D x2 -- M x2 -- F x2 -- UTIL (utility player)
The utility player can be either a D (Defender), M (Midfielder) or F (Forward) and will score points in the same way as the other selections. However, you will notice your budget has been spread thin, so, this is all about finding a hidden gem that could score well. For example, a defender that is not typically a big scorer but is playing against a team that struggle to score, therefore heightening the chance of (clean sheet, tackles won, passed intercepted etc.) points.
The format allows you the luxury of entering into a variety of contests including beginner tournaments/leagues, head to heads (against one other opponent), 50/50s (where you win if you finish in the top half) and many more.
