DraftKings fantasy football is very similiar to Fantasy Premier League (FPL), but does not require full-time commitment like FPL as it offers year round games that you can play as little or as much as you want.

Here are our fix standout selections for the DraftKings' gameweek 34 daily contest (Saturday 13th April):

GK / Ryan / $5,000

Brighton host Bournemouth in gameweek 34, an opportunity to invest in a resilient home defence, with five out of their six clean sheets coming at home. As always, our attention is focused on the saves potential of the keepers given the DraftKings’ point scoring system rewarding keepers with 2 points per save, on top of 5 for a clean sheet. Ryan averages nearly three saves a game, illustrating his high points potential in this format. Bournemouth have scored only six goals in the last six gameweeks, landing just 15 shots on target (SoT). For additional informative data on Goalkeepers, see our bespoke DraftKings’ custom stats table here.

D / Digne / $6,400

Everton notched their fifth clean sheet in the last six matches as they beat Arsenal 1-0 in gameweek 33. Their left-back Digne averages 7.8 crosses (+0.75 points in Draftkings), 1.8 interceptions (+0.5 points in DraftKings), 0.3 clean sheets (+3 points in DraftKings), 1.4 tackles (+1 point in DraftKings) and 0.9 shots (+1 point in DraftKings) per match, indicating his multiple routes for points in this format. Everton's recent defensive form has been strong, conceding only three goals and 18 SoT in their last six league matches. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates a 40% probability of Everton keeping a clean sheet this week and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

M / Pogba / $8,700

Man. United will be looking to continue their charge for a Champions league spot as they host a West Ham side that has kept just one clean sheet in the last six gameweeks, conceding 10 goals. Only Kane and Salah have averaged more shots (+1 points in DraftKings) per match than Pogba’s 3.1, and the Frenchman leads the league for average SoT with 1.6, indicating his goal threat. Over the last six gameweeks, Man. United scored nine goals and also landed the seventh most shots on target (SoT) with 23. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature predicts West Ham to have only a 11% probability of a clean sheet this weekend, so the Frenchman is a great pick for your squad, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

F / Jiménez / $8,900

Wolves will be looking to recover from their loss against Watford in the FA Cup as they visit Southampton and given that the Saints have shipped seven goals in their last five matches, Jiménez is our forward recommendation for this week. He averages 0.7 crosses (+1 point in DraftKings), 2.9 shots and one SoT per game, and has racked up 12 goals and 10 assists already. Wolves have scored five goals in their last five matches, creating 12 ‘big chances’.  Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates only a 35% probability of a Southampton clean sheet, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

How to play DraftKings Fantasy Football

For those unaccustomed to this fantastic daily cash game, you are required to select eight players with a $50,000 salary cap. The structure is as follows;

GK -- D x2 -- M x2 -- F x2 -- UTIL (utility player)

The utility player can be either a D (Defender), M (Midfielder) or F (Forward) and will score points in the same way as the other selections. However, you will notice your budget has been spread thin, so, this is all about finding a hidden gem that could score well. For example, a defender that is not typically a big scorer but is playing against a team that struggle to score, therefore heightening the chance of (clean sheet, tackles won, passed intercepted etc.) points.

The format allows you the luxury of entering into a variety of contests including beginner tournaments/leagues, head to heads (against one other opponent), 50/50s (where you win if you finish in the top half) and many more.

The full scoring breakdown is as follows:
