DraftKings fantasy football is very similiar to Fantasy Premier League (FPL), but does not require full-time commitment like FPL as it offers year round games that you can play as little or as much as you want.

Here are our fix standout selections for the DraftKings' gameweek 30 daily contest (Saturday 8th march):

GK / Dubravka / $4,600

Newcastle host Everton in gameweek 30, an opportunity to invest in a goalkeeper who is facing a side who have scored only five goals in their last four away matches. As always, our attention is focused on the saves potential of the keepers given the DraftKings’ point scoring system rewarding keepers with 2 points per save, on top of 5 for a clean sheet. The Croatian has made 82 saves, the fith highest in the league, racking up nine clean sheets. The Magpies have notched three clean sheets in their last four home matches, conceding just one goal. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature suggests that Newcastle have a 37% chance of a clean sheet and for additional informative data on Goalkeepers, see our bespoke DraftKings’ custom stats table here.

D / Pereira / $6,200

Leicester play their first home game under their new manager Rodgers against a struggling Fulham outfit, and their marauding Portuguese right-back will be eager to impress. Leicester have now kept seven clean sheets, the seventh highest in the league. The Portuguese averages 3.5 crosses (+0.75 points in Draftkings), 1.8 interceptions (+0.5 points in DraftKings), 0.3 clean sheets (+3 points in DraftKings), 2.1 tackles (+1 point in DraftKings) and 0.8 shots (+1 point in DraftKings) per match, indicating his multiple routes for points in this format. Leicester’s defensive form at home has been strong, conceding only 46 SoT, the fifth lowest in the league. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates a 44% probability of Leicester keeping a clean sheet this week and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

M / Fraser / $7,900

Bournemouth travel to bottom of the table Huddersfield in gameweek 30 and will be looking to get back to winning ways after picking up just one point in their last five matches. Only Ritchie has averaged more crosses (+0.75 points in DraftKings) per match than Fraser’s 6.3, and the diminutive winger also averages an expected assist (+6 points in DraftKings) nearly every third game with 0.3, and 1.1 shots (+1 point in DraftKings) per match. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature predicts Huddersfield to have only a 25% probability of a clean sheet this weekend, so the Scot represents a great value option, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

F / Vardy / $8,400

With two goals as many games, Vardy will be looking to continue his good form against a struggling Fulham outfit that have shipped 37 goals on their travels.He averages one cross (+1 point in DraftKings), two shots and 1.1 SoT per game, and has racked up ten goals and three assists already. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates only a 12 % probability of a Fulham clean sheet, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

How to play DraftKings Fantasy Football

For those unaccustomed to this fantastic daily cash game, you are required to select eight players with a $50,000 salary cap. The structure is as follows;

GK -- D x2 -- M x2 -- F x2 -- UTIL (utility player)

The utility player can be either a D (Defender), M (Midfielder) or F (Forward) and will score points in the same way as the other selections. However, you will notice your budget has been spread thin, so, this is all about finding a hidden gem that could score well. For example, a defender that is not typically a big scorer but is playing against a team that struggle to score, therefore heightening the chance of (clean sheet, tackles won, passed intercepted etc.) points.

The format allows you the luxury of entering into a variety of contests including beginner tournaments/leagues, head to heads (against one other opponent), 50/50s (where you win if you finish in the top half) and many more.

The full scoring breakdown is as follows:
