DraftKings fantasy football is very similiar to Fantasy Premier League (FPL), but does not require full-time commitment like FPL as it offers year round games that you can play as little or as much as you want.

Here are our fix standout selections for the DraftKings' gameweek 25 daily contest (Saturday 9th February):

GK / Ryan / $5,100

Brighton host Burnley in gameweek 26, an opportunity to invest in a resilient home defence, with four out of their five clean sheets coming at home. As always, our attention is focused on the saves potential of the keepers given the DraftKings’ point scoring system rewarding keepers with 2 points per save, on top of 5 for a clean sheet. Despite missing four games due to international duty with Australia, Ryan has made 64 saves, the 10th highest in the league. If we assume he maintained his average of over three saves a game in the games he missed, he would be seventh highest with 76, illustrating his high points potential in this format. Burnley have scored only 11 goals in their 13 away matches, with only 33 shots on target (SoT), the second lowest in the league. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature suggests that Brighton have a 42% chance of a clean sheet and for additional informative data on Goalkeepers, see our bespoke DraftKings’ custom stats table here.

D / Wan-Bissaka / $4,800

Palace host a West Ham side that has struggled to pick up points on their travels recently, and their English right-back Wan-Bissaka is a great value pick for your DraftKings squad this weekend. No defender averages more tackles won (+1 point in DraftKings) than Wan-Bissaka’s 2.7, he also averages 1.6 crosses per game (+0.75 points in DraftKings) and 2.4 interceptions (+0.5 in DraftKings), indicating his multiple routes for points. Palace have kept nine clean sheets this season, the fifth highest in the league. West Ham have only scored two goals in their last four away matches, the second lowest in the league, and only Fulham (nine), Newcastle (eight) and Watford (six) have had fewer SoT than their 10. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates a 36% probability of Palace keeping a clean sheet this week and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

M / Salah / $10,900

Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways as they host Bournemouth in gameweek 26, and despite no returns in the last two gameweeks, Salah deserves to be selected for your midfield slot this week. Only Kane, Mitrovic, Pogba and Aguero have averaged more shots  (+1 points in DraftKings) per match than Salah’s 3.2, and the winger also averages an assist (+6 points in DraftKings) every third game with 0.3. Only Aubameyang and Kane average more goals than the Egyptian’s 0.6 per game (+10 points in DraftKings), indicating his explosive potential.Their opponents Bournemouth have conceded 11 goals in their last six matches, with only Fulham and Huddersfield (12 each) more conceding more. They also rank fifth worst for ‘big chances’ conceded, with 15. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates only a 5% chance of a Bournemouth clean sheet, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

F / Aubameyang / $10,000

Arsenal travel to bottom of the table Huddersfield in gameweek 26, a great opportunity to invest in a forward that boasts an impressive record against teams outside of the ‘top six’ this season, scoring 13 goals and 5 assists from 17 matches and averaging 7.6 points per game. He averages 0.6 goals a game, and over the past eight gameweeks his total of 19 shots inside the box was 4th best amongst forwards, behind only Mitrovic (22), Barnes (23) and Rashford (25). The Gunners have scored 23 goals on their travels, the fifth highest in the league. The Terriers have conceded 12 goals in their last six matches, joint-bottom with Fulham. They allowed opponents 17 ‘big chances’ with only Watford (18) and Fulham (19) doing worse. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates only a 14% chance of a Huddersfield clean sheet, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here

How to play DraftKings Fantasy Football

For those unaccustomed to this fantastic daily cash game, you are required to select eight players with a $50,000 salary cap. The structure is as follows;

GK -- D x2 -- M x2 -- F x2 -- UTIL (utility player)

The utility player can be either a D (Defender), M (Midfielder) or F (Forward) and will score points in the same way as the other selections. However, you will notice your budget has been spread thin, so, this is all about finding a hidden gem that could score well. For example, a defender that is not typically a big scorer but is playing against a team that struggle to score, therefore heightening the chance of (clean sheet, tackles won, passed intercepted etc.) points.

The format allows you the luxury of entering into a variety of contests including beginner tournaments/leagues, head to heads (against one other opponent), 50/50s (where you win if you finish in the top half) and many more.

The full scoring breakdown is as follows:
