DraftKings fantasy football is very similar to Fantasy Premier League (FPL), but does not require full-time commitment like FPL as it offers year round games that you can play as little or as much as you want.

Here are our fix standout selections for the DraftKings' gameweek 37 daily contest (Saturday 4th May):

GK / Fabianski / $5,000

West Ham host Southampton in gameweek 37, an opportunity for the Hammers to sign off their season in style in front of their fans. As always, our attention is focused on the saves potential of the keepers given the DraftKings’ point scoring system rewarding keepers with 2 points per save, on top of 5 for a clean sheet. The Pole has made 140 saves, the highest in the league, racking up six clean sheets. The Saints have scored just five goals in their last four away matches landing 12 SoT (shots on target), an average of three a game. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature suggests that West Ham have a 30% chance of a clean sheet and for additional informative data on Goalkeepers, see our bespoke DraftKings’ custom stats table here.

D / Wan-Bissaka / $5,100

Palace travel to a Cardiff side that have struggled in front of goal all season, and their English right-back Wan-Bissaka is a great value pick for your DraftKings squad this weekend. No defender averages more tackles won (+1 point in DraftKings) than Wan-Bissaka’s 2.6, he also averages 1.7 crosses per game (+0.75 points in DraftKings) and 2.5 interceptions (+0.5 in DraftKings), indicating his multiple routes for points. Palace have kept twelve clean sheets this season, the sixth highest in the league. Cardiff have scored just three goals in the last six gameweeks, only Brighton (one) have managed fewer. They created only three ‘big chances’ in those matches and registered only 19 SoT. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates a 42% probability of Palace keeping a clean sheet this week and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here

M / Jota / $9,400

Wolves will be looking to seal seventh place with a win against Fulham in gameweek 37, and their in-form Portuguese midfielder is a great value pick this week. Currently playing in an advanced role alongside Jimenez up front, the Portuguese has racked up three goals and an assist in Wolves’ last four home matches, registering a total of 10 goal attempts. He averages 1.1 crosses (+0.75 points in DraftKings)  and 1.6 shots (+1 point in DraftKings) per match. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature predicts Fulham to have only a 17% probability of a clean sheet this weekend, so the Portuguese represents a great value option, and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

F / Jiménez / $9,000

Jimenez continued to rack up the goals as he scored at Vicarage Road in gameweek 36.  He averages 0.7 crosses (+1 point in DraftKings), 2.9 shots and one SoT per game, and has racked up 13 goals and 10 assists already. Wolves have scored eight goals in their last six matches, creating 11 ‘big chances’ and landing 16 SoT. Fulham have allowed opponents 34 SoT over the same period, only Huddersfield (37) have fared worse. For more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

How to play DraftKings Fantasy Football

For those unaccustomed to this fantastic daily cash game, you are required to select eight players with a $50,000 salary cap. The structure is as follows;

GK -- D x2 -- M x2 -- F x2 -- UTIL (utility player)

The utility player can be either a D (Defender), M (Midfielder) or F (Forward) and will score points in the same way as the other selections. However, you will notice your budget has been spread thin, so, this is all about finding a hidden gem that could score well. For example, a defender that is not typically a big scorer but is playing against a team that struggle to score, therefore heightening the chance of (clean sheet, tackles won, passed intercepted etc.) points.

The format allows you the luxury of entering into a variety of contests including beginner tournaments/leagues, head to heads (against one other opponent), 50/50s (where you win if you finish in the top half) and many more.

The full scoring breakdown is as follows:
