DraftKings fantasy football is very similiar to Fantasy Premier League (FPL), but does not require full-time commitment like FPL as it offers year round games that you can play as little or as much as you want.

Here are our fix standout selections for the DraftKings' gameweek 25 daily contest (Saturday 2nd February):

GK / Ryan / $4,900

Brighton host Watford in gameweek 25, an opportunity to invest in a resilient home defence, with three out of their four clean sheets coming at home. As always, our attention is focused on the saves potential of the keepers given the DraftKings’ point scoring system rewarding keepers with 2 points per save, on top of 5 for a clean sheet. Despite missing four games due to international duty with Australia, Ryan has made 63 saves, the 10th highest in the league. If we assume he maintained his average of over three saves a game in the games he missed, he would be fifth highest with 75, illustrating his high points potential in this format. Watford have scored only 17 goals in their 12 away matches, with only 41 SoT, the seventh lowest in the league. Our Fixpredicted points and stats feature suggests that Brighton have a 32% chance of a clean sheet and for additional informative data on Goalkeepers, see our bespoke DraftKings’ custom stats table here.

D / Wan-Bissaka / $5,300

Palace host a Fulham side that has struggled to pick up results on the road this season, and their English right-back Wan-Bissaka is a great value pick for your DraftKings squad this weekend. No defender averages more tackles won (+1 point in DraftKings) than Wan-Bissaka’s 2.7, he also averages 1.7 crosses per game (+0.75 points in DraftKings) and 2.5 interceptions (+0.5 in DraftKings), indicating his multiple routes for points. Palace have kept eight clean sheets this season, the fifth highest in the league. Only Cardiff (seven) have scored fewer goals on the road than Fulham’s eight, with the Cottagers ranked third worst for shots on target (SoT) on the road with 36. Our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates a 42% probability of Palace keeping a clean sheet this week and for more data like this you can access this custom stats table here.

M / Sigurdsson / $8,900

The Toffees will be looking to build on their win against Huddersfield in gameweek 24 as they host an in-form Wolves outfit at Goodison park. With Digne suspended, their Icelandic playmaker Sigurdsson is likely to be in charge of all set-piece duties, making him an astute selection for your midfield slot. With goals counting for +10 points in the DraftKings format, an eye for goal is an invaluable attribute. He averages 5.2 crosses a game, seventh highest amongst midfielders and forwards, 2.4 shots and 0.9 SoT. Only Hazard (34) has created more chances on home turf than Sigurdsson’s 30, and only Pogba (45) has taken more shots than his 36. Wolves have conceded 10 goals in their last six matches, and our Fix predicted points and stats feature estimates only a 21% chance of a Wolves clean sheet. F / King / $8,500

King was the standout performer of gameweek 24, with two goals and an assist in their 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea. Averaging 2.1 shots a game, the Norwegian is expected to lead the line once again due to Wilson’s injury, and over the last four gameweeks only Rashford (10) has landed more SoT than his seven. No forward took more shots in the box (SiB) than King’s 13 over this period. The Cherries top the league for goals scored in this timeframe with nine, and they also had a league high 30 SoT. Their opponents Cardiff have the worst defensive record in the league at home, conceding 23 goals in 12 matches, and allowing opponents 60 SoT. Our Fix predicted pointsand stats feature predicts only a 23% chance of a Cardiff clean sheet, making King a great selection for your DraftKings squad this week. How to play DraftKings Fantasy Football

For those unaccustomed to this fantastic daily cash game, you are required to select eight players with a $50,000 salary cap. The structure is as follows;

GK -- D x2 -- M x2 -- F x2 -- UTIL (utility player)

The utility player can be either a D (Defender), M (Midfielder) or F (Forward) and will score points in the same way as the other selections. However, you will notice your budget has been spread thin, so, this is all about finding a hidden gem that could score well. For example, a defender that is not typically a big scorer but is playing against a team that struggle to score, therefore heightening the chance of (clean sheet, tackles won, passed intercepted etc.) points.

The format allows you the luxury of entering into a variety of contests including beginner tournaments/leagues, head to heads (against one other opponent), 50/50s (where you win if you finish in the top half) and many more.

The full scoring breakdown is as follows:
