Adama Traore to Wolves

Predicted/Actual Price: 5.2m

Fee - £18M

Primary Position - AMR

Last Season's Form: 34 Appearances / 5 Goals / 10 Assists

Wolves have continued to invest heavily with the signature of Adama Traore from Middlesbrough for a club record fee of £18M. The player has some FPL previous of course, playing 10 games for Aston Villa in the 2015/16 season and then featuring 27 times for Boro through 2016/17. It's fair to say that he didn't live up to his fantasy potential last time out though, failing to score a goal in either season and registering just 3 assists.

Now 22 years of age, and with a decent season in the Championship under his belt, Wolves fans will be hoping he can integrate into what is promising to be a very exciting season for the Premier League newcomers. Traore joins the likes of Joao Moutinho, Raul Jimenz, Raul Patricio and Dendoncker in adding the team, and, indeed, where Traroe fits in will be the first question for fantasy managers.

Blessed with electric pace, the Spaniard plays predominately on the wing and will compete with Diogo Jota, Raul Jimenz and (more likely) Helder Costa for a place amongst Wolves front three. At £5.5M in FPL, Traore will represent something of a bargain should he establish himself as a regular Premier League starter and show the form his natural ability promises.
